Pricing and Tagging
We are excited to announce that we will be using a computerized tagging system! Sellers are required to tag items using this system. However, if you need help printing tags, we will be glad to help for a small fee.
Pricing Guidelines
- Price in $.50 increments
- There is a $2.00 minimum on all items. Group like items or put together as sets to reach this minimum price point. For example, place a small group of books together in a secured Ziploc bag to bring the price to the minimum of $2.00 dollars or higher.
- A common rule of thumb is to price items at 70-75% off the original purchase price.
Pricing tips:
1. Price your items as if you were the buyer, not the seller.
2. Package similar items together for quicker sale. For example, match a top with a bottom, similar aged books, pairs of socks, smaller toys, etc.
3. Price to sell. You do not want to take items home with you.
Tagging Instructions
- Please take the time to register as a Consignor.
- Tags must be printed on lightweight card stock.
- Print using 'Normal' or 'Draft' quality.
- After printing, you will cut and safety pin (no straight pins) the card onto the right-hand side of your garment.
- If you choose to donate to our charity of choice, please check the donate box.
- If you choose to donate an item it must be marked for half off.
- All clothing must be washed and hung on hangers and sorted by size and gender before coming to the sale. Please rubber band your groups together for faster check-in.
- Tags on all items besides clothing should be attached with clear packing tape.
- Be sure that you are as descriptive as possible when labeling your items. This will help ensure that the tag will be able to be replaced if it happens to fall off during the sale.
